The Glottertal St. Christopher Mosaic

The mosaic is by Eugen Boerner after a sketch by Franz Schilling. The composition includes the usual features for this iconographic type: the staff with leaves, the Christ Child on Christopher's shoulders, the orb in the child's hand, and the river. It is quite large and stands above the entryway to the church (see below).
